Gold reviewerSair reckons:
This was the best parmy Ive had in a while. The parmy itself was big and crunchy with plenty of sauce and cheese, the salad was great and the chips were the best ever. I was so full by the end of it but as it was so yummy I couldnt stop til it was all gone. The staff were friendly and they get a bonus point for giving us a great desert although I really dont know how we fitted it in!!

Gold reviewerSal reckons:
Mama Mia! A truly great parmi. Very traditional tasting sauce, with tasty cheese, and a polenta crumb, I kept eating long after I should have stopped. I chose the vegies as the side, which was a great option-a generous serve of creamy, garlic potatoes alongside some Italian-style sauteed vegies. My friend went with the chips & salad, and the chips were awesome too. The only criticism is that the chicken breast was of an uneven thickness, which caused it to be a little tough on the thin end, but apart from that, it was one of the nicest parmi's I've had in a while. To top it off, the tiramisu was fantastic, the service was second to none, and the venue has a great 'Little Italy' vibe-don't forget your violin case!
Bruski reckons:
I’m no longer a Cafe Victor virgin, and what a satisfying way to lose my innocence! The parmy was medium in size and a little thin throughout but was part of an awesome package. One of the edges of the parmy was a little over exposed and hence charred under the griller but that didn’t deter from the flavoursome chicken taste. The topping of tomato/chopped onion over the ham slice with what seemed like a mix of melted cheeses (more cheese, more cheese, more cheese, more cheese.....(more beer tune)) had a unique yet very yummy zing. The chips were sublime! There were plenty of them, they were cooked to a perfectly crunchy and golden finish and had a subtle seasoning. No crime against chips here. The salad was standard and joyously had easily palatable sized pieces. The vinaigrette dressing was zesty. A bonus point for the complimentary and gorgeous tiramisu dessert, though I wonder whether the waiter was trying to impress my equally impressive dining partners....! The venues Italian setting was quaint and the friendly staff (we actually only saw one), was great. A fantastic parmy experience.
