It is with a heavy heart that I give this review. The Crowie has seen lower and lower scores with each subsequent visit, however, most noticeably a considerable change in parma size. It was still juicy, the topping was still great but the schnitty is a shadow of its former self. What happened you used to be so cool?

on my good friend mattys recommendation i hit up the crows nest hotel to taste one of the delights from their House of Schnitty menu. being a man i opted for the large sized schnitty which was indeed quite large, with a really nice herbed crumbing. i wanted to go for the classic parmigiana topping but i just couldnt back down from the challenge of the Schnitosaurus. Needless to say the bacon, ham, salami, chorizo, deep fried onion rings, 3 cheeses and BBQ sauce was far more meat than i had prepared for and i really struggled to get through it all (the topping lost points as it was really just a collection of meats stacked on top of each other with minimal sauce to help get it down). the chips were great and there was a particularly large serving of them too which in no way helped my cause. i awarded a bonus point to the crowie(?) for their big choice of toppings on the menu and also their valentines themed love booth

Marking the start of the official parma tour I couldnt help but notice the menu titled 'House of Schnitty.' There were 3 choices of schnitty, small inc avo, 200gram and 300 gram and a choice of 10 or so toppings ranging from the norm to the the bizarre. Feeling adventurous i went with the Schnitesaurus Rex which consisted of bacon, ham, salami, chorizo, onion rings and 3 kinds of cheeses and bbq sauce. This schnitty was great, well cooked with the best chips and salad I have seen yet. This was defintely the best decision I have made this year so far. I nearly awarded a bonus point for the selection of toppings and may do so in the future. Overall great choice of beer and fantastic parma highly recommended!

I was extremely reluctant to venture back to the crowie after my last Parma experience but things have taken a turn in a great direction! They have improved their "House of Schnitty" menu and may have removed a few toppings but they now have a 500gram and 1kg schnitty option. After two weeks in Asia all my stomach could manage was the 200gram schnitty which was perfect size, cooked well and had a delicious topping. Amazing chips and great salad. Comparing the photos from my last review to this one the size is a lot bigger and overall presentation has improved greatly. I will have to go back soon and give the bigger schnitty a try. I am glad to see the schnittasaurus is still on the menu.
