First time I've had a parma with prosciutto instead of ham. Now I'm not complaining, but it lacked that "wow factor" as my trusted sidekick pointed out. As for the chicken, it was spot on. Delicious. Meanwhile, not sure if something was lost in translation but the "skin-on fries" as described on the menu had no skin, they were just skinny, of which I'm not the biggest fan. Salad was good at best, but there's room for improvement there. In the end chips and salad cost this parma's overall rating. Parma alone was great.

This was a pretty solid and tasty parma. The actual quality of the meat was top notch, but it was overcooked by the smallest fraction which meant by the time I finished it, it had started to dry out slightly. This prevented perfect marks in that area. The size was perfect, not ridiculously large but very satisfying. Both the sauce and cheese were quite tasty, but there were areas of sizeable basil leaves that dominated the flavour. The chips were fantastic but just a couple more would have been appreciated. I wasn't a huge fan of the coleslaw on the side. To be fair the menu did call it a hot mustard coleslaw, but the hot mustard was perhaps a little strong when trying this element on its own. Overall one of the better parmas around and I would happily eat it again...and again.
