This Parma is the biggest I have ever seen. It's name says it all "Jumbo Chicken Parmigiana". Because of the size it has to sit on top of the chips and the salad. The Salad is a little warm when eating. The chips were nice as they are beer battered they stay crispy. The parma itself is just massive. Sauce is a little to (Spaghetti Bolognese) tasting and the cheese does not cover the whole Parma. I have taken a point off as the parma does not come with Ham and it costs extra to add.

Spew on a plate this was. It was huge in size but it seemed everything had been compromised for the size however it was thin anyway. Chicken was poor quality and topping sucked cheese was wtf blerrhh just dont get it. Also i had the fettuccine carbona from this place which was like vomit i think it was just pasta mixed with cream cheese from a jar and put on a plate yet the prices are so high you'd expect to get something back.

First of all this doesn't deserved to be called a Parma its a disgrace. First of all I am a beleiver that for a parma to be a parma it must contain the following, chicken, napoli sauce, ham or bacon and cheese. I am upset and traumatised reliving the memory of this night. It was state of origin game 2, very excited for a parma I had been told about. Dissapointed doesn't comprehend my feelings. The size was excellent, however the chicken was tasteless. The bolognese sauce was like diarrhoea, colourless and bland. I think that it was that bolognese sauce you buy in a can from the supermarket for $1.20. The chicken was rubbery and plastic, also tasteless. The attempt at a salad was an abortion on a plate. I would not recommend this place for anything other than using it as a toilet stop on a drunken car ride home. They need to focus on quality and freshness. Keep It Simple! their is someone trying to be too creative where it is not necessary. I felt emotionally upset and was left feeling 'not right' for several days. The minus point is for calling it a parma

Comfortably the worst Parma I've ever forced down my throat, possibly one of the worst meals I've had. The only positive was the size of the chicken. There was no ham, stuff all cheese, some shitty bolognse sauce (mostly water), chips may as well been soggy bland mash, a pathetic salad with no dressing and all that for the low low price of $22. How dare they call that a Parma.

Went to Mark's place in Wantirna and was served long narrow Parma rather than your traditional heart Parma shape. It was probably a bit too flat as well. The sauce was more of a bolognaise than your traditional tomato sauce. Probably a little too pricey as well.

Below is the email I sent to the restaurant after eating our meal.... Not the nicest review, but then again not the nicest parma. Hi there, Just a brief email to let you know how dissapointed I was with your claim of "Melbourne's premiere eating establishments" and the other one... "fanstasic food at fantastic prices". We have just orded, eaten, and paid for a Jumbo Parma at your establishment and we regularly write reviews that are passed amongst friends, and then loaded onto the internet. Below is my review, of Marks Place, Wantirna and their "jumbo Parma" "Sacrificed chips and salad for Mash and Vegies... An extra $4-5 NOT well spent. First impressions was that it looked big and messy, which is exactly what it was - Big and all over the place. It looks like no care was put into this parma. The bolognese sauce was the only thing that gave this dish any flavour. Even then, the sauce itself was nothing more than bland, and made using the cheapest ingredients. Chicken seemed to be thin and dry, and crumbed with very little care. Can I ask, was this crumbed in house? or pre-crumbed in a factory). Cheese... now, I WAS trying to figure out where the plastic flavour and texture came from. Then I realised that there was a hint of plastic, sorry CHEESE on the parma. Ham, zilch. Flavour, next to zilch. my rating... 1.5 out of 5" All in all.... not a good $20 well spent. Can I recommend trying to decrease the size of the parma, and increasing the quality of the ingredients used. Will make a huge difference, but then again, for $20 something dollars, it'll need to improve by a helluva lot!!
