    Parma Disarmer reckons:

Specials available Wednesday however we dined on a Tuesday. Parma was decent- however gone were the days of the enormous sofia's parma we all used to love (bring it back guys!). Had to ask for ham on mine to be added- however was only charged an extra $1 for this, but it was pizza ham which is disappointing. Chips were good in quality however again, Sofias, where many came for the 'Parma Challenge', has gone down in size (although the quality increased). This is not a bad thing- however we came after a hard days work, having not eaten since mid morning, and were a little disappointed as they've gone away from the days where finishing one of these was actually a challenge. Either way though, decent feed, excellent service, however a tad overpriced i think now the size isn't there.

    Juppy reckons:

This is without a doubt the worst parma ever. On the menu it was clear that the mortal sin of not having ham in the parma is evident here. However the waitress said I could add ham if I liked, so I made the mistake of ordering one with vegies and chips. What came out ont not resemble a Parma. It looked for like dogs vommit. The so called ham was shredded pizza ham which didnt seem to have any taste besides the slight hint processed fat. It gets worse. The parma was sitting on top of a pile of mash potatoes that had somehow been mixed in with over cooked soggy vegies. The floppy tasteless fries where to the side. I wouldnt feed this to a dog.

of all places to get a gnarly parma, you'd never expect frankghanistan!
the parma was hard to actually locate on the menu, it was called a "polo parmigano" which confused me as there was a veal parmigiana on the menu so why give the chicken one a fancy name?
you get the option of parma and vegies for $18.50 or for an extra $2.50 gets you the traditional chips n' salad (which ofcourse I opted for as vegies are for poofdahs)
the parma came out super quick, which i suspect alot of this is pre-prepared, however it didn't taste like this at all...
as you can see in my photo a massive plate with a decent sized parma (unfortunately plonked on top of the chips) and seperate decent sized bowl of salad was serrved up.
chicken was cooked perfectly, with the topping also done spot on by Big D's books... chips were done to my liking also and I was impressed with the side salad also.
I would recommend this place, other menu's getting served up looked pretty decent also. thumbs up from BIG D!
