    Zac reckons:

Terrible Parma, processed chicken from a packet, thin and nasty. The layer of breadcrumbs is the same thickness as the chicken! BIG thumbs down.

A trip down the good old spready on a sunday for the parma special and trivia has once again not dissapointed. An excellent choice of parma's (5 on the $12 sunday special) were on offer. As per the strict judging cuidlines i've gone with the traditional parma. Service was quick and friendly, the parma hot and well presented. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was a good quality whole breast. The parma was served on tp of a bountiful supply of fresh and tasty chips. The salad was HUGE!. This is possibly the biggest salad i've ever seen served with a parma. Plenty of rocket, capsicum, tomato and red onion were drizzled in a light salad dressing. Now the minor niggling downsides... for my personal taste there was too much cheese on the parma, the napoli sauce was plentiful but sadly over the top. The combination of too much sauce and cheese managed to make the upper crust of the parma soggy by the end...only a small thing but enoguht to be noted. Overall a good experience with the spread eagle hotel, great service and atmosphere and judging by the number of people eating there the food has a great reputation.

Very good 12 dollar Parma and the choices of toppings adds a bit of interest to the experience. They have a trivia session about 3pm on Sunday afternoon and so the atmostphere is really humming and makes for a great Sunday afternoon out.
