Gold reviewerSair reckons:
I chose the vegie option this time and loved them! There were all the usual vegies - carrots, zucchini, broccoli, cauliflower and corn. The few chips that were there were a bit soggy and plain. The parmy was of a good size with heaps of cheese, ham and tomato topping. The parmy was a bit soggy and thick in some places. If the crumbing was crunchier they wouldve received a higher scoring. The Star looks as though it has been renovated recently and looks really good - athough all the other times I have been there I have been really drunk so may have not noticed.

Gold reviewerSal reckons:
Certainly not the biggest serving size, especially for $19, luckily there were plenty of chips & vegies to make up for it. The chicken was cooked well, but the crumb was falling off a bit, and the sauce was a bit too acidic. I had to smother it in gravy to drown out the taste. Nice venue though!
Bruski reckons:
The parmy this week was medium in size, but quite thick and juicy. The crumbing was consistent, had a nice spread of thinly sliced ham, a tasty yet bit too tomatoey sauce and a nicely grilled cheesy topping. The chips were nice and crunchy, maybe slightly overcooked, but there was not enough of them. The salad was a bit limp with an interesting caesar dressing. Overall, not bad, but could have been a little cheaper.
