  unable to adjudicate bonus point for or against due to lateness of parma for waitress error which was cancelled out by her kindness to deliver the meal on the house. the meal itself was very tasty and enchanting, the satisfaction level was terrific and therefore was able to leave with a smile on my dial. NB: not convinced that the original parma should be allocated as "Swedish" on the parmas of the world menu

  Second time at the Leveson. Parma was nice and large, although some may have considered it slightly tough. Sauce was enjoyable, maybe a little too rich. Chips really hit the spot. The salad was as good as you will find with your parmas anywhere, great dressing and even contains a second serving of chicken. Sadly, a bonus point had to be taken off for service. Staff took about 20 minutes to serve us despite being about one of three tables. A small inconvenience in an otherwise consistently great parma experience.

  The old 2009 number one parma is still the one to beat although we have not yet tried the 2010 number one yet, that's next w/end when they host the truck and ute show (annual event). This one is big, thick and real chicken and is consistently great. This is a review from our trip there last week for their parma of the world night they have weekly and have done so for quite a long time with consistent excellence. It's hard to beat this one in the city. Will see you all next week.

  Had mixed results. We had a table of 7 who ordered 6 parmas. 4 were great, one was a little dry and the 6th was overcooked to the point of being almost inedible. Really disappointing, especially since they all arrived at the same time. Downgraded a couple of ratings on this basis. The chips were excellent, not soggy at all but would still prefer them served on the side. Maybe a bigger plate? Bonus point as my parma was shaped exactly like Australia.

  Went there with a party of 5 last night for a birtday dinner. The parma was awful, the chicken was very dry unlike our last parma there. The crumb was overpoweing and the salad dressing was all over the chips and the bottom of the parma. And DONT put the bloody parma on the chips - it made them soggy and between that and the dressing the bottom of the parma was all wrong. Shame as it's such a great joint.

  This week was a return trip for us, no where near as good as the last time we went, c'mon guys we know you can do better. Parma is a great size but the chook itself was a bit dry and the crumb fell off taking some of the topping with it. Will have another crack another time though.

  This was recommended to us by another parma rater (parma/lover) unfortunatly it was very disapointing. We've rated generously however all in all in comparison to a few other well rated parma joints around it's only just there. On the upside it's a nice funky bar, good courtyard and nice atmosphere, the rest of the menu look pretty good though but the parma - not quite there.

  Date of consumption: 9-Apr-2010 The topping of this parma really stands out. It's got this awesome cheesiness to it, and makes eating the topping a pleasure. The salad, likewise, had awesome fetta cheese to it, however, could be more fancy. The chips likewise could have been a bit better quality, there were a few soggy ones in there. Unfortunately the price of $23 is simply too much to pay for a parma of this rating. I strongly urge the owners to consider dropping the price, or alternatively to increase the size of the serving.

  Parma was too herby, the herbs in either the sauce or the crumb ? was to overpowering. The cheese in the salad was very rubbery which was annoying cause it looked good. The cheese was burnt down one end also. The size of the parma was fantastic but I'd rather a small one that taste better. Parma was also overpriced . Great venue though.

  Special is $19 for parma and PINT on Tuesday's. There are 5 different parma's of the world but I've only ever had the traditional, not one for the fancy toppings. The beauty of this special is there's also a loyalty card, buy 5 parma's on the special day and get a 6th free! Me and my mates from uni have been getting this parma most Tuesday's since we found out about its existence, and out of the 30-40 we have had there, they have never disappointed. The parma is enormous, and while it is annoying to be served on the chips, it wouldn't fit on the plate any other way. The chips are always nice and crispy, and well salted. The salad is a nice touch with a balsamic dressing and bocconcini cheese. The price seems high for a special, but considering that it comes with a pint and the parma itself is second to none, it's a price well worth paying. Bonus point is for consistency.

  Dipragg reckons:

  A sunny Sunday afternoon at The Levenson beer garden produced a very good parma. Salad had some weird cheese and was oily (hence the rating) and tomato looked old. Meat quality was excellent, sauce was nice with a generous serving of cheese. Attentive staff not to busy, nice atmosphere. Overall very good but too expensive for a parma!

  Usually the Leveson does a mean parma, but this time the chicken was dry (hence the minus point) and there was just something wrong about it that I couldn't quite put my finger on. I think it was the sauce. It just tasted weird. Service was also very slow and salad consisted almost only of tomato and rocket.
