Platinum reviewerGavin reckons:
Wests have been advertising a pizza sized schnitzel with pizza topping and true to their word the schnitzel was quite an impressive size, it was hard to gauge the quality of the chicken itself due to the immense topping, i opted for the hawaiian pizza topping and it was quite good (veeery heavy on cheese though). The meal came without any sides which was probably justified in the end as surprisingly enough a chicken schnitzel pizza is super filling. I was at first going to give this meal a bonus point for pure size, but this point was forgone with the absolute shambles we had to go through to order (apparently ordering 18 pizza sized schnitzels is a big ask for the bistro here). I might add the photo attached is of the seafood topping, i got a little caught up in the excitement of it all and forgot to take a photo of the hawaiian.
Shayne reckons:
The Chef challenge, Hawaiian Vs Seafood on a Parma the size of a pizza! Thats enough to excite even the most unenthused parma reviewer. I decided to split my Hawaiian with a friend for half of his seafood to give a full objective view (this is why the photo looks so messy). The size was definately impressive but without sides it became quite bland, the taste was similar to that of a festival dagwood dog, I think this was due to the massive amount of parmas running through the kitchen at the time. The winner was definately the Hawaiian style, the seafood extender and cocktail sauce just didn't cut it. I think this was an adventurous ploy but there needs to be more attention to detail
