This was a really good parma - I didn't expect such a good parma from a burger shop, but there you go! The parma was served up reasonably quickly - only fifteen minutes from when we ordered it. At first glance, the size of the parma was stunning. Two large slices of crumbed chicken breast on top of a bed of chips and salad. As is our usual, I moved the chicken away from the top of the chips to stop the chips from getting soggy. It was then I realised how much chips were served up. The chicken was really good - I'm pretty sure it was free-range chicken. The meat was fresh, tender, and juicy, just what you'd like from the 'breast' cut of chicken. The crumbing was crispy - if I was nitpicking I'd say that the crumbing was fried a touch too much, but it was still crunchy. Have a look at the pictures I attached! The topping of the parma was pretty good - though perhaps not enough to score a perfect '5'. The sauce was a bit on the dry side (or is that my personal preference?) and the amount of cheese a slight bit less than I'm used to. I think the cheese needed another tiny bit of time in the oven - a few more dark spots on the cheese would have looked more pleasant. However, I'm nitpicking - the topping was pretty good, too. Chips were well cooked, not burnt at all, lightly salted, and as you can see, quantity is not an issue. Full marks in this section. The salad was pretty good as well - fresh lettuce leaves, red onion, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, and covered in some salad dressing. The chef was a little too heavy-handed with the dressing, but that's just my personal preference. All in all, a good helping of vegetables as well so I'll give this 'full marks' as well. I've decided to award this venue a +1 - it's not everyday you can find a well-thought-out, and well-made parma at this price point. Pick up a beer to go with your parma and all is well. The quality and quantity is well worth the price - I would definitely eat there again the next time I'm visiting Perth.

I was in Richmond for a week of holidays, so teed up lunch with my friend here at the Terminus Hotel. It's a pub we've missed in the past, so it was good to finally get in there and check out the quality of their parma. The parmas came out pretty quickly, perhaps within fifteen or twenty minutes, not surprising when us three were the only patrons on a quiet Monday lunchtime. The parma was great! The chicken was of good quality, and a fairly decent size (only obscenely large pieces of chicken breast get the "5" rating on my scale), the crumbing very crunchy as well. The crumbing was cooked perfectly, no traces of overcooking here. The topping was great! The Napoli sauce was flavourful and the cheese of good quality. The cheese was toasted 'just right' as well - props to the chef as it's a VERY fine line between browning the cheese and burning it.The ham under the cheese was good as well. The chips were very very good as well, and we were provided with a large serve. I didn't finish the chips! There was no salad served with the parma, instead, coleslaw was dished up. The coleslaw was ok... nothing special to write home about. It rates a solid 2 out of three in my books. I gave this parma a bonus point because of the attention to detail the chef gave to the parma. It's not everyday that you get to eat a parma that's this well made. This parma is slightly on the expensive side, but make no mistake, it's a very high quality parma. Hard to imagine how the parma can be improved... perhaps providing a 'salad' option for people who don't like coleslaw? I'm just nitpicking here, though. This parma is well worth trying the next time you're in the Richmond area and have a craving for a parma.

This parma was larger than usual today, and the topping even better than last time. The cheese topping here is of good quality, and abundant enough without being greasy. It's a fine line, and the chef does it well. Unfortunately the salad was was lacking! There's not enough of it, and no dressing to boot! Even better than last time, and the price of $10.00 was a bonus. Get a pint with your parma for around $7 and you'll go home feeling full!
