Ricky T reckons:
This is the best quality-for-money parma I've had so far in Sydney. I gave a bonus point for the price, I'm always chuffed to see a great quality parma at a blue-collar price. So far I've found out that the more expensive the parma, the worse it is (such as the steaming pile of crap that is served at the Hillside Hotel and Balmain Bowlo). So for $18 you can't lose with this one! I've sampled this parma on two separate occasions, the first being on Anzac Day and the second about a week later. Both times they were excellent, however the last time the meat was a little dry, no biggy because I know they can do better. PJ's might not win any awards but you should come here for the great atmosphere, good beer, good parma, and the friendly staff. This is a great pub.
edwmat reckons:
This venue has been a thorn in my side for far too long. Sitting up the top of NSW rankings with one review billing it as "best value for money parma"I decided it was time to venture and see for myself. What I encountered was one of the most disappointing parmas in recent memory. The only thing saving this was the great company from G-Money. Average parma, salad and chips on all terms. Maybe the quality has changed in the past two years because the above photo does look a bit different.
