    Popo the Monkey reckons:

    This parma was consumed on 30/12/2014. The parma presented very well. The thing which stood out immediately for the parma was the cheese topping - it was toasted perfectly with the cheese golden-brown. The meat was of a good quality, pretty tender, thick, and juicy. Sadly the crumbing wasn't quite as crispy as others I've had, but that can be fixed easily. The topping is where this parma stands out - beautiful, plentiful cheese, over a homemade sauce with thin strips of bacon and chunky tomato in it. The sauce was a little on the sweet side, but I didn't mind it at all. The chips were decent, though the serving size leaves a little to be desired. Salad was excellent, just the usual, but the freshness and the quality of the salad was top-notch. Bonus points to the pub for providing the salad in a separate bowl. All in all, a decent parma, perhaps slightly hampered by the size of the serving, and possibly the lack of crisp factor for the crumbing. Well worth the try when you're in Bendigo.
