Bronze reviewerParmologist1 reckons:
This Parma had no expectations to live up to. It was very much a 'close to home' quick dinner trip. Lucky!! The quality of the chicken was actually very good, but there was so little of it. The topping (napoli sauce and ham) was superb, but drowned in copious amounts of greasy, Tasty Cheese. This gets a -1 (sorry!) for the chips being smothered by the Parma and the terrible cheese.

WOW!!! Was very dissapointed last night, mates bday. looking forward to it. Yet I was severly let down, the last parma I had at the Royal was amazing, full of flavour good taste, good chiken, mad chips and awesome salad. However last night was puss. The chicken was tastless and the crumb to chicken ratio was too much. The chips were soggy and they had committed a standard crime by putting the chips under the parma. The sauce was out of a jar/can as ive tasted this sauce on poorer quality parmas. The salad was okay, but again nothing special. I think the key with getting a good parma is going on a quite day like a mid-week lunch, or early weekend lunch. Last night they were flat out and it was unfortunatly reflected in the food that we were served.

**Main Bar (not bistro)** Parma was quick to come out, good size, good topping but with too much cheese. Chips were good but not a big amount, Salad looked pretty ordinary with floppy lettuce, I might order without salad next time, overall for $15.00 was pretty good value!!

Bronze reviewerPenelope Papadakas reckons:
Very nice parma in a nice venue, it ticked all the boxes in terms of the parma itself, nice thick juicy chicken very tasty sauce, but the cheese was a bit rubbery. Everything tasted reletively fresh and plated nicely. The overall meal just lacked something I can't put my finger on it, probably the fact that nothing stood out. Bonus point for the unlimited bread rolls and parmesan cheese. I would go back again for sure.

Silver reviewerPablo reckons:
Lovely parma, fantastic size, very good salad which comes out seperatly. The chicken to crumb ratio was very good with suffcient chicken. The chips was nice and thick and very fresh. I gave a bonus point for the free bread rolls. However they are at the expensive end of parmas and by the time you add a pint its close to $30.
Big Nik reckons:
This parma presented well as you can see in the photo and the service was very good. Unfortunatly the parma was very ordinary. The chicken breast was about 2mm thick and the breadcrumb coating was thicker than it. The -1 bonus point is for the burn rock hard bottom of the parma. The chips, although fat (which I'm no fan) were by far the best thing of the meal and may have almost made me give the fat chip a bit more respect. All in all very disappointing meal and will not be going out of my way to have another parma at the Royal again.
