The parmi was averaged size, while the topping covered most of the parmi it wouldve been better if it also covered the sides. The chips were yummy - just the right amount. I liked that the parmi wasnt sitting on top making them soggy. The salad came in a seperate dish and was just your average salad but quite nice. The Albion is very clean and looks really good after the renovations and the staff are very friendly. While the parmi was yummy I dont think it was really worth the $17.00

Parmy was of reasonable size though could have been larger for this price. Meat was tender and of consistent thickness (12 - 15mm), no dry/hard edges. The topping was a bit sparce, more cheese required, preferably over the entire piece and over the sides. The sauce was a little too tomatoey. The chips were the standard straight cut variety of good thickness (10mm), perfectly cooked, nicely spaced around the plate, not soggy or trapped under the meat to suffocate. The salad was the typical small side bowl filled with a couple of halved cherry tomatoes, rocket, capsicum slices, cucumber slices and a slightly over generous quantity of sliced spanish onion. A light vinegarette dressing topped it off. Presentation on the suitably sized plate was simple yet effective with all food clearly displayed and elegantly garnished with some rosemary. The venue was clean and modern with the service outstanding.

If this was a $10 pot & parmy deal it would have been acceptable, but for the price, it was not very good value for money. The size was fairly average, and the heavily tomato based topping was scant. The chicken was deep fried, and not freshly crumbed. On the upside, the service was fantastic & the chips were good, although the side order of gravy was lumpy.
