Cut of meat covered a lot of the plate, but that meant some of the rough (fat) edges hadn't been trimmed. Fair amount of crumb added thickness. Served on top of chips (which I actually like) of moderate size & just cooked to a light crunch. Topping... ham was good to see, sauce was kind of dry - leaving no tomato to mop up with the chips. Salad dressing was different to everywhere else which was a nice change. Dressing did foul some of the chips though.

It's a nice big parma but it's fairly thin. Crumbing pads it out but it has the traditional 'tavern' sloppyness about it. Topping is nice but the ingredients are of average quality. The chips were the biggest disappointment, no crunch, no flavour others on the table got even worse, serving them under the parma sealed their fate. Salad was a surprisingly nice part of the dish. This is exactly the type of parma I try to avoid where possible. Very uninspiring.

Dropped in for a Parma on Sat night - Very good parma overall. Nice big piece of juicy chicken. Topping was good however they used the most ridiculous piece of ham on top. I mean the parma was 3/4 the size of the plate and then they use a piece of ham about 6cm x 6cm. It was like the little bits of Don ham you buy in the vacuum packs in the fridge section. It looked stupid. Overall it was still a damn tasty feed though.

Times are tough. The Aussie dollar is down and Victorian law prevents us from watering our lawns. What i find even tougher is trying to ingest a Parma that resembles a large processed chicken nugget or the soggy chips underneath it. I bet you’re all nodding your head in agreeance right now. That all changed last Sunday when the missus and i walked into Diamond Creek pub. I didn't even open the menu. I knew what i was there for. I was taken aback at the sight of the chips on either side of the Parma. I even lifted the Parma to check if they'd placed it on top of any chips. Nothing. Were they reading my mind? Golden crunchy chips covering the plate - what a welcome sight. The actual Parma itself was exquisite. The perfect amount of tomato sauce and cheese. The Chicken was cooked to perfection. With every Parma comes a salad. In this case a separate bowl was provided. Freshly tossed in a lovely dressing. Rather delightful. Overall the experience was truly enjoyable. If you live near Diamond Creek pub, get there now.
