Finally, a parmy with a meaningful piece ham on top! Look at it, looks like an eager beaver tongue hanging out, relishing the opportunity to be devoured, by me! But, bah baaah, the hameth doth not maketh the parmath....... The parmy was average in size, quite thick but dry. The topping was below average (apart from the ham), with a bland tomato sauce and a barely there cheese covering. The crumbing was ok. The chips were tasty but again, blanketed by the meat, creating a sweat. The salad was great, with a good spread of ingredients and a zesty dressing. The price was reasonable as well. Overall, an ok but not outstanding meal.

I was told from some big guys who love their food, that the Ettamogah Pub has huge, great tasting meals. So I went with high expectations and walked away a little disappointed. The parmy was of a good size with lots of ham but not much sauce or cheese. The chips and salad were ok. All up it was pretty average.

I am sure that back in the day, this would have been a great place to take the family for a day out, but the poor old Ettamogah Pub is a sad, tired place now! I guess the same can be said for the parmi, it wasn't awful, just average. Overcooked chicken, sauce straight from a jar, and no consistency, there were six of us that ordered parmi's and there was a huge difference in the size and amount of topping. With a little more effort, it could have been pretty good!
