"chicken"

The first thing I thought when it arrived was "where's the parma?". Being used to having at least half the plate swathed in crumbed chicken goodness, I was unimpressed to have to play hide and seek with my dinner. I think perhaps the chef lost his hammer to flatten the thing out. I think he also lost his watch, as it was a little overcooked on the outside. The meat however was still tender and quite tasty. Chips were a good quantity but could of done with another couple of minutes to give them some crunch, instead of resembling a flaccid.. well.. chip. The "hero of the dish" was the julienned carrot. That's a bit freakin' sad isn't it? Having the parma as my benchmark of quality for a pub meal, this is one venue where I would stick to just the pint.
