slightly staggered at this accidental find during a lunch hour, how could an $8 parma be any good? It comes with a pot of draught so there's a head start. Its a no nonsense parma and chips, with no salad or veg. The structure is spot on, crispy crumbing, nice thinly sliced ham, some tasty napoletana style sauce, good lashing of grilled mozzarella, a good clean butterflied chicken breast and a good serve of salty crisp chips. Really tastes nice and like a good pub parma, and its terrific value so the bonus point. Clean little venue, and the beer by itself is great value also. Recommend.

If your up for food poisoning then head down to Golden Age. But seriously, in my experiences at this place, the 2nd time you get a meal its great but the first one that comes may be raw/sickening. Twice out of 5 times eating here I've seen a parma literally raw in the centre, the 2nd one is pretty solid. I guess if you could convince them to make a parma and then chuck it in the bin then start over and give you the 2nd one; then this place would be worth while. The staff/general feeling of the place is that of a morgue. There is a general fawlty towers feeling about the place which is nice in some respects for a little bit of show while you eat. The parma itself was cheap as hell, they don't have a website for me to check and I'm not game to go back and find out; but it was under $10 so I guess you can't expect a masterpiece. With a hop skip and a jump you can go to the colonial and get an amazing parma so don't waste your time.
