I'm going to agree with Parma Dan, Scott must have had a bad run. Whenever I go to the Warrandyte, I go to the public bar and the parma is consistently good.

Quality pub parma. Nothing special or fancy, exactly what you'd expect from a parma at the pub. Not sure what the other reviewer was complaining about. Guess they were just unlucky. I had mine in the bar not the bistro, but i doubt that would matter. Although they did just change chefs, so maybe give them another chance.

I'm not speaking lightly when I say this was the worst parma I've had in my entire life. Kicked off badly, consistency accross the table was terrible, some looked good and others (like mine) looked like garbage. The topping was solid as a rock, extremely overcooked and lost all it's flavour. Chicken was dry and stringy, a pain to cut up. Crumbing was mushy and all over the place given the style of cutting required for the chicken and topping (a stabbing motion perhaps similar to Patrick Bateman's). And the chips, my god, who can fail so badly at chips? They had no salt, were undercooked and horribly soggy thanks to the usual mistake of putting them under the parma. The salad (which as you can see, dominated the plate) was not bad, but clearly put together by someone who had no idea what they were doing. Point deducted for having no consistency. Feel free to avoid this parma at all costs.
