"OK" sums it up basically. I've definitely had worse. Terrible value for money at $20.

One of the best parmas I have ever had! Loved every bit of it....just couldn't finish it though. Will definitely be back for more. Wish I had've tried the tropical one too...next time.

Special parma fhe week : Tropical. Overall it was a brilliant parma, the chips were marvelous, and a decent quantity to just fill me up. My personal preference is that the pineapple pieces are underneath the cheese, however this is just trivial when it comes to the quality parma that was presented.

Have eaten here before. Have seen something new. Finally a parma not served on top of the chips. The parma had a chunky nap sauce and lots of mozza. Definatley a change in the right direction WELL DONE!!!!

Monday night is Parma night at the Great Northern Hotel, They do an excellent Parma, (although it usually sits on the chips) and the outdoor beer garden is one of the best in Melbourne with a projector and several flat screen tellys. I gave them a bonus point for putting the salad in a side bowl, giving you extra room to tackle the meal.

I was a regular visitor to the Great Northern Hotel around 5 years ago and finally made it back for a parma. How disappointing! I have to agree with the previous reviewer - the chicken seemed like it had come straight out of a McCain's package and the cheese seemed like it had been melted in the microwave. The crust of the schnitzel was soft and soggy - again giving the impression that it had been microwaved. I was extremely disappointed by my parmagiana - sometimes things don't change for the better!

A pretty average parma, that looked like it had come out of a freezer bulk packaged by McCains, a big let down. Chips were tasty..salad drenched in Balsamic which ruined it. Order Something else, Wasnt brilliant, but felt undercooked and processed :( Point off to processed feel to the meal.

They called it the triple stack - 3 halves stacked on top of each other. It was probably about half the size of the Albion Hotel's 900g Grandeoso parma in Port Melbourne. The flavour of the chips was excellent. Unfortunately the venue staff refused to give us chips & veg despite potato & veg being one of the side options. The chicken breast on one of my "layers" was exceptionally tough so they lost some marks on quality.
