I feel that in the interests of all that is fair and good in the world we live in today I must preface this review with the fact that today is indeed a celebration of the 28th anniversary of my birth. I will endeavour to make my review as objective as possible. Despite working in the area for more than a year I thought I would double check Cremorne Hotel’s menu and see if they had warmed up to the idea of including a Chicken Parma on the menu. They had. I am sure I had checked this before and saw that they didn’t, however, in my old age perhaps I may have forgotten…. A hasty exit from work into the plaza and I placed an order and sat down with a peroni and waited anxiously. The parma was of a decent size but the batter was slightly too crispy for my liking. The sauce and cheese was spot on. The chips while being a smallish amount were delicious. The salad was a small traditional salad that did the trickand complimented the parma perfectly. A nice touch was the small tray of condiments of different sauces and the helpful staff. This is by no means a fine dining parma but is consistent with most of the local pub offerings I have experienced on the tour. For a price of $16.00 and prompt service in combination with the obvious celebration I am going to go with my (satisfied) gut and give this place a bonus point.
