"chicken"

Date of consumption - 31 August 2010. Monday lunch special at the Labor Club (Civic) - $9.90 parma and pot. Apologies for taking a bite out of the parma before taking my picture. This is sooo embarassing! The size of the parma, while small, certainly wasn't too bad for the $9.90 price tag. The quality of the chicken breast was okay - it was natural chicken, but the crumbing was somewhat soggy. I chose the optional spicy topping, with jalapenos. It was a pretty good change from the usual parma toppings. It was nice and spicy, without detracting from the tomato taste. Unfortunately, there was no ham on top of this parma. I deducted one point for this reason. There weren't enough chips served, unfortunately. The quality of the chips were pretty alright, although there were a few soggy and burnt ones thrown in there. The salad was okay too, I gave it the average of 1.5. Definitely value for money though, I would come back here for lunch if I was a member.
