Date of consumption: 7 September 2010. Overall, an okay parma, and one of the cheaper ones in Canberra. The chicken breast was a little thin, and a little dry. Size was about average. The topping is where this parma shines – there is just enough cheese on top, and doesn’t overpower the bacon pieces on top. Is this a Canberra thing – bacon pieces on top? Whatever it is, I love it! Chips were pretty good too, it’s the typical Mooseheads beer battered, well seasoned chips. Unfortunately the quantity was about half of what was required. The salad I liked. It was simple, fresh and had dressing. It included rocket, shaved carrots, tomato, red onion and cucumber. I’ll give this a “pass” mark, although I’ve had better.

Wow, hold the phones! We have a new player in town, the unsuspecting Mooseheads Bar/Nightclub in East Row Civic. I dont mooseheads as a nightclub, but the food is another matter. I dindt even realise till recently Mooseheads were open for lDinner until this week. Size wise, the parma was good, not huge though. The topping was lovely with eggplant in the mix too. My only complaint was there coulda been a bit more of the tomato sauce, but otherwise great value! And the Chips! Oh my! At the time of writing these suckers are up there with the best ive tasted! Chunky ! Beer Battered! YES! and all for $11.90. Woot! A thoroughly enjoyable experience! BONUS $4 pints till 7pm!
