Excitement was in the air upon visiting this venue for parmy day, as the price was cheap, the serving size generous and there was a choice of 6 different toppings – woo hoo! But of course, as it happens all too often, the excitement was premature. The breast looked big and thick with a substantial amount of topping but the damn thing was so freaking tough!! Call in the sawmillers! The meat was dry and overcooked and inconsistent in thickness. The crumbing was soggy. The meat lovers topping was reasonable, with shredded ham, bacon, salami and caramelized onion, and even though the cheese was thick, it certainly didn’t look like it was grilled to a melt, more likely miniature waves were used. The few chips present were limp and tasted like the oil they were cooked in was about six months overdue for replacement. The small serving of salad was a let down again with only a few of the necessary ingredients present. There was potential here but just like the resident footy team, more effort is required.

On first inspection it looked like we were finally getting a decent parmy for the price of what they should always be!! Unfortunatly you can kinda see why it was so cheap. The parmy itself was really tough - you nearly needed a steak knife to cut into it! While it had plenty of topping, it looked and tasted like it had just been microwaved. There were plenty of chips but they tasted as though the oil needed to be changed. The salad was pretty good including the usual green salad plus a noodle and colesaw salad. On the postive side, they had a number of different variety of toppings as well as parmy size, there was a complementary bread roll and we had a great view over the footy oval- pity there werent any hot footy guys running around!

Reasonable price, a choice of 6 different toppings, great view of the footy oval. Doesn't get better than this, right? Then the parmi arrived. At first glance it looked ok, generous serving size & salad in a seperate bowl, but sadly things went downhill from there. I chose the mexican hot & spicy, which consisted of store bought taco sauce, microwaved cheese, jalapeno's sour cream, and half a dozen stale corn chips. On close inspection, the parmi's were deep fried, the chicken was rock hard, and I swear it was microwaved to melt the cheese. The chips tasted like old dim sims, and the salad was nothing spectacular either.
