Having arrived in Port Douglas for a good friend's wedding, the opportunity to indulge in a parma presented itself following some friendly advice from a local, who more or less claimed the Paddy's parma was the greatest thing she'd ever laid eyes on. Full of excitement and anticipation, I made my way down to the Irish pub the day after a solid night of drinking, hoping for the best. Unfortunately, I should have expected the worst. As you can see, the parma was burnt, the salad nothing special and the chips served sparingly. Oh, and I forgot to mention the 30+ minute wait, adding insult to my hangover. Disappointing to say the least.
