"chicken"
Having been less than impressed by my first parma in Port Douglas (see Paddy's Irish Pub), I went out on a limb at the local Surf Life Saving Club, going for the parma instead of the tried, tested and popular fish and chips. Thankfully, the parma gods were smiling down on me as I was rewarded with one of the tastiest birds I've had in months. It was fantastic - great size, brilliant toppings, juicy chicken. What more do you want? I don't even know what that green sauce on the plate was, but it tasted great. Now I'm not really fussed about chips under the parma/on the plate/on a separate plate etc, but those of you who are would be absolutely rapt with the dual plate and then dual bowl service as seen in the photo. On a personal note, I'm not a fan of shoestring fries, but what can you do. I can't remember how much the parma cost, but it wasn't exorbitant by any stretch of the imagination and I would definitely recommend.
