Laid down a challenge to the barman. Best thing about the dish was that the barman knew it would disappoint. Only saver was is was a special and on kitchen closing time. Some people don't value a salad but sometimes it helps freshen things up. Particularly if the Parma is dry and old. Chips were good but honestly I ate a few mouthfuls and now I'm heading back to the hotel for room service ... For $10 these days what do you expect. About what you get here. A dry Parma with no care or salad.

i’m full of mixed emotions about this parma, on one hand there I was mano-a-mano with sydney’s most eligible parma reviewer, and on the other a fairly mediocre plate of chips served with a side of parma. the parma was decent enough I guess but it wasn’t much to write home / drive to Sydney from Newcastle about. the parma dwarfed in comparison to the largest serving of chips I have seen in reviewing memory. all round it went pretty close to earning a bonus point for the price $12 but it’d be doing this parma an injustice, it really wasn’t anything special, i couldn't help but respect the no side salad approach though. as a Plan C venue (which this was) I guess it’s not the worst parma going around.
