"chicken"
This place is hidden away in Battery point however its an institution around these parts of Hobart. Great service as soon as you walk in the door, nice nautical feel about it. The menu in general is brilliant with a great array of seafood. The parma is one of the best I've had in Tassie.

The $13.50 Chicken Parma can be purchased from the bar menu at Shippies. I have awarded an extra point for atmosphere and character as the old Hobart pub has an impressive history and some of the cheapest beer in town. They use quality local free range Chicken topped with an amazing sauce served with a lemon wedge on the side. The stir fried vedge and scallop potato is an excellent side dish and the chips are always of a high standard. Good quality pub grub that beats any $5 parma in town.

Possibly THE best sauce I've had to date. Very tasty. Unfortunately the chips and quantity weren't held to the same high standard which let them down. Certainly the potential here for a beauty!
