Bloody hell, what a great Parma! Went down on Thursday night and the place was packed! With good reason too! The Parma came out and it was the size of the plate, I just got the regular Parma but there were like 8 i think to choose from. The chips were really good but probably not enough and salad looked small but nice.

Don't put those big chunky chips on the plate if they aren't cooked bloody properly or if they have no seasoning.

Great parma, however my girlfriend prefers her parmas without the ham and the chef wouldnt let us have one without it. Otherwise I quite enjoyed it.

Back in the day, these parma's were absolutely ridiculous in size which would make you question what percentage was actually chicken & more to the point; what was making up the difference. In more recent years, the dog has had a major face lift & so has the menu. Although it has been some time since going there, I can still taste that napoli around my fat gob!

The plate was covered with a foot long chicken fillet. Huge, with the thickness not comprimised. Topping was nice, however could have done with a little more sauce. Chips and salad quantity was a little light on, but needed to be to compensate for the dinosaur bird that was presented. -1 bonus point is for the expensive price tag.

Date of consumption: 11 September 2010. Whoa, what a big parma. This was a pretty good parma for the price too. The size of the parma was huge. I’d happily give it a 5 no worries. The chicken breast was pretty thick too, no complains here. It was juicy in bits, but dry in other bits. Overall I can’t complain. The breadcrumbs were pretty good too, it was herby. The topping got the maximum rating, despite being a bit lacking in the amount of sauce. However, the cheese was pretty yummy, so perhaps more sauce would have detracted from the taste. They were very generous with the smoked ham too, it was yummy! Chips and salad were served in separate bowls on the plate, this deserved a bonus point. The chips were of good quality and salted lightly. Not much complaints here except that the serving portion could be improved. Likewise with the salad – simple but very fresh and well presented. The salad ingredients were lettuce, red onion, and grape tomatoes. Kudos to the management/chef for including the chips and salad in a separate bowl each to keep the parma from getting soggy. THANK YOU! Overall, despite the high price, it was still value for money. I would wholeheartedly recommend this parma to anybody!

Long time between parmas at the skinny dog and had heard of the "change of guard" so we were keen to see if the parma had survived the transition, thankfully it had. Upon arrival we immediately noticed the change clean new ex and interior, menu and staff but now to the point the parma. size- thumbs up sauce (has improved)- as above ham (double smoked)- x2 as above sides (coleslaw & fries)- as above garnish (green stuff on top) what is it????? Not the old dog we loved but now a more sophisticated K9 and the fancier approach to the parma might just catch on.

This place used to be a Kew institution. Wife and I went here weekly and sometimes twice weekly for years to get our parma fix. Parmas were so big we always had to have the split parma option. Then earloy this yeat the hotel changed management. The new idiots have tried (in vain) to turn the Skinny Dog into a gastro pub - and the results are disasterous. Service has gone to hell, ambience and atmosphere have gone to hell and the parma's....don't ask. I shall wait until I see a big fat "UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT" sign on the window before my wife and I ever return. The new owners simply do not "get it". I do not wish bad upon anybody, but I cannot see these guys surviving after what the crimes they have committed against the once most loyal clientele in teh parma world. Tick, tock, tick, tock...I can hear the bomb ticking...

After waiting an hour (on a sunday with 2 people in the place) the food came out cold. The parma was pressed meat, the topping uninspiring and lacked any kind of flavour. The salad consisted of a side bowl of lettuce leaves, no onion and some kind of tastless dressing. I live just around the corner from the skinny dog and i'll not eat there again! The steak had by my partner also came out cold and under cooked.

Parma is HUGE but just ok. Chips were good, and toppings werent bad. Salad was ordinary. Over all not a bad feed and left me feeling "stuffed" there was so much of it. It certainly looked impressive but was not the high quality we've come to expect from our beloved parma.

Good size & quality parma. Chips served separately in a bowl, which keep them crisp and the salad was fresh. Dining area is modern and well lit.

Ham as an addition not an automatic component was a weight off the shoulders when ordering (due to religious commitments) The chicken was juicy, chips crisp (served in a side bowl), vegies tasted great and than theres the size!!! Great value all round.

Made our way down to kew after reading reviews on here .. must say we were overall pleased with it but certainly not the best I've had. It was fairly large in size ... but must admit was expecting it to be larger after reading the reviews on here...would definitely be the largest I've had but not by much! Meat was very nice and tender - cooked perfectly. The topping looked delicious but wasn't a winner for me ... couldn't really taste the sauce. The salad was average and small - same goes for the chips. As mentioned overall satisfied but have had better!

Skinny dog's Parma’s are an overall 'OK', we were happy with the food. But those of you who need and want good service this is not the place for you! We were served a broken glass of water not knowing this until the end of our time at Skinny dog. The manager was very rude and didn't do much about this. Good taste but we walked out with a bad taste in our mouths :( i.e the minus point!

Masive, massive parma, chips cant even fit on the plate!they are served in a side bowl keeping them crisp and fresh...Chicken is huge thick and tasty.Comes with a good side salad not that anyone can fit it in after tackling the parma. They also serve half size they are that big.
