"chicken"

against the recommendation of one of the friendly locals i ordered myself a nice lunch parma instead of the "legendary" fish cone. the parma was massive, definitely going some way to justifying the price tag. the chicken and crumbing was top quality and the topping was a massive combination of ham chunks tomato and perfectly melted cheese. there was a huge amount of chips that filled up the rest of the plate, although they were missing a bit of character for mine. all in all it was definitely worth stopping in for if you're in the area, especially considering it's the only pub in town.
