Bonus for the sting chips - they are my favorite. My issue was with the chicken, it fell apart and did not appear to be a good breast. As a side note there was a slice of tomato on the top of of the parma. Salad was only lettuce, cucumber, onion however the dressing was nice.

The chips were under the parma, but as there was a free pot with Monday night parma meals, no point were deducted. The whole place was quite dark and not conducive to eating. Thus, even though the meal was quite filling, I would recommend going during daylight hours or only for the specials at night. Usual price of parma about $23 dollars.

For a city pub it was a very pleasant surprise getting a Parma that was of an excellent quality. Not only is this a very funky pub but they have the tucker to make the stay even better.

Wow! I didn't go to this pub looking for a parma, it's pretty trendy with a taxidermy emu greeting you as you enter. It doesn't look like the usual place that would even have a parma on the menu. But boy am I glad they did! The chicken breast was up there with the best that I have ever had, parma or not. It was incredibly juicy, and just the right thickness to make the chicken to crumb to sauce to cheese ratios perfect. It was so tender it literally melted in the mouth. The crumb was obviously fresh, and beautifully crispy without being so heavy with oil as can often be the case with a crunchy crumb. Perfect quantities of sauce and cheese, which were both flawless in taste and quality. The cheese was both gruyere and mozzarella, and I think this added an extra dimension of flavour that was certainly welcomed with open arms. The chips were served to the side which we all know is a small miracle, and while they did look like they'd come from a McCain's packet they were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The salad was nothing to rave about, just a few pieces of lettuce and red onion with I think 2 slices of cucumber, but nobody orders a parma for the salad so this is almost irrelevant! I have long raved about The Leveson serving the best parma I'd ever had, but they could learn a lot from The Carlton Club, this was absolutely outstanding!

Great bargain on a Monday - half price menu. Chips were crinkle cut and reminded me of what you get out of a packet of McCains from the frozen section at the supermarket, but we're here to talk about parmas and it was pretty good.

I have eaten alot of Parmas over the years and this was one of the best I have consumed. Was cooked to perfection with the right amount of crumbing and excellant coverage of topping without going over the top. Chips were a great compliment to the parma in both quality and taste. All served on a plate large enough to have the parma sitting seperate to the chips - always a good thing - and the salad served on the side in a small bowl which stops any stray dressing causing soggy chips or parma.
