Although the parm has changed a few times over the many years i have been going there, they're still in high demand with local ex private school kids & Swinburne Uni students. This may not be the best bit of bird but has good favour & the talent that goes there can often make you forget why you went there in the first place!

I used to quite like the Hawthorn parma, not sure what has gone wrong here. Size was fantastic, but everything else was of questionable quality. The sauce tasted like tomato paste, the cheese was OK but seemed to be tougher than the chicken. The chicken itself was well cooked, but kind of mushy in areas, I was nearly ready to stop eating it but it came good in the end. Chips were good but thanks to being under the parma too long they got fairly soggy, lucky there was a decent amount to make up for it. Salad was good but just skimped a little. I've taken a point off for horrible ham placement (it was rolled up on the side of the parma, covering only about 20%) and incredible inconsistency. My girlfriend ordered a parma as well and was no where near the size of mine.

Dissapointment is the only way to describe this parma. The chicken was okay but the parma was definetly not big enough. The amount of chips that were provided were not suffcient and the salad was POO. All of this for $22, they need to lower the price and the first place they should start is by sacking the chef as he is overpaid. There was no care or love put into it, it looked like it has been slapt together by a parma virgin.
