With my new motto for 2014 being “get bitches & eat parmas” and not doing well on either front I had my hopes set high when I went to the Oxford on a sunny afternoon. The Oxford is an institution and was well known from the 1970s a topless bar and Warren the old piss head from Getting Square. The new takeover by the Drink n Dine group and awesome fitout manage to leave some of the sleaze behind while still being a trendy inner city bar. The parma was pretty much the same as the Carrington & The Norfolk (both in the same group) same delicious size, quality, salad & topping that I have become used to. The outdoor dining area was perfect and I will award a bonus point for the combination of great fitout, chicken salt on the table & awesome company(refer photo). Highly recommend to check this place out if you’re in the area. They need to get Kosciusko on tap ASAP!
