This is one of the best parmas I've ever had, it was so big that I barely got half way through it, heaps of cheese and perfect amount of sauce.

I recently dined at the pub at crown on a Tuesday night, now i have been there before and ordered the Parma and was not very impressed. They had a $17 deal going that involved a Schooner of beer and a deluxe Parma, which the cashier convinced me to order. I was pleasantly surprised when the meal came out. The Parma was of a decent size with a large portion of chips and had a bolognaise topping that was amazing. I will be honest the chips are French fries but the Parma was great. I will take a good feed and a schooner of beer (not a pot) for $17 any day. The Bonus point was for the quality and originality of the topping.

Question…. With a standard knife & fork, should you be able to cut through chicken ? Answer… Of course. Question… So why couldn’t I when I ordered the Chicken Parma at The Pub @ Crown ? Answer… Because it was so TOUGH !!!! Which leads to my last question, Where do you get off charging $19:90 for a below average chicken parma. Ok, I’ve got that off my chest, I’m not going to say any more about the chicken, The topping was just average, the salad turned out to be vegetables (soggy and under the parma) and the chips were thin cut, not my favourite but ok. So to sum it up, this is the worst pram I’ve had and one of the most expensive :)

Great deal on Thursdays with a beer wouldn't buy on any other day as normally $18 and there is better. However meat is well cooked and sauce has flavor but not enought ham. Service was very good.
