After reading the first review for the Royal Crown I had no choice but to make the long trip out to Dudley to see what the fuss was about. All in all i was quite happy with the meal, the size and quality was good but not outstanding, i would have given a bonus point for presentation but this was negated by the small amount of chips (counted 10).

I was very surprised at the quality of this meal, I was not expecting much at all when I sat down. The Parma was a large, succulent piece of meat with a rich but not overpowering sauce and just the right amount of cheese. The chips were generously sized and well seasoned and the salad was tucked nicely away in a side dish. A shout out has to go to the staff for comittment to what is realistically just a small pub's bistro. +1 bonus point for the waitress bringing out the salad dressing bottle so that we could pour the desired amount. Great Parma!
