This parma has to be one of the best in Melbourne so good in fact it is wise to book in advance. Chicken and topping a perfect let down only very slightly by the salad.

Who'd have thought, since heading to the Corner Hotel back in 2012 for our very first parma review, that my trusted sidekick and I would be just a few kilometres up the road, two and a bit years later, for review number FIVE OH? What a time to be alive. Now, as for the parma itself... well, my trusted sidekick hit the nail on the head when he said that the Royston Hotel is a bit like Chin Chin... lots of hype, but in the end it's just OK. Cheese was nice, but there was way too much of it. Chicken was tasty too, but not thick enough! I like the idea of coleslaw with corn in it, but in this case it was NQR. Chips were good, not great. Would I go back? Probably not. But it was a good place to raise the bat, nonetheless.

This parma was up there as being one of the best i've had. Great serving size, most amazing chips for a parma and thick juicy chicken with excellent topping. Happy to pay that much for the quality, however order at the bar and you pay only $13. Salad and waiting time were the only let downs to a parma I would highly recommend.

The chips were nice and crispy, but needed salt. The chicken has a distinctive processed look to it, but for processed chicken it didn't taste too bad.

Parma was cold, overcooked and small. Chips were in abundance to make up for the parma, but were also cold. Very disappointing.

Decent parma, although a small portion relative to many other venues. Quality of the parma and chips was excellent, although as with many things in life, lack of size was an issue here. The average punter would need to smash 2 of their parmas to be satisfied. Hopefully they can increase the portioning size, without compromising the quality of the meal.
