Bit disappointed really. Parma was small and while the sauce was excellent, it didn't make up for the other shortcomings. A sprinkling of chips that were borderline soggy and a salad that tasted a bit old. Overall a pretty disappointing effort from a place I have had quite a few good Parmas from.

I ordered the "Parma Special" and it was not terribly special... the chicken was extremely thin and they tried to compensate by adding tons of crumbing - poor form. The topping was very good though, as were the chips. Hopefully next time I get a decent sized parma like i normally get from there.... A bit disappointed this time around.

I rocked up at the Vale on Tuesday and it turned out to be parma night. A great selection of parmas, I went for the Aussie parma. Topped with loads of ham, bacon, cheese and egg it was a flavour sensation! It was delicious. The crumbs we a bit thick and soggy though but I'll forgive it because of the amount of juice leaking out the topping. On the other hand under all that topping and flavour there wasnt much chicken content, the quality of the meat was a bit poor, it was thin with had a slightly rubbery consistency. Chips were fine, no complaints and and salad was nice too.

I experienced the Tuesday special - Meatlovers Parma. Totally blown away by the parma itself. The topping was epic, so many meats topped with good cheese, BBQ sauce and onion. The size is enormous, but the quality of the schnitzel wasn't as great as others. Chicken wasn't as juicy as I've had before, crumbing was a little on the soggy side. The chips and salad were both great but the chips under the parma pushed them too far on the soggy side. Maybe not perfection, but a brilliant meal which I'd happily have again.

The venue itself was nicer than I expected, which is always good and the staff were friendly. It was Parma Tuesday and this was the reason for dropping in, there were about 6 options but it was a toss up between a normal parma and a meat lovers parma... zero contest there. The parma itself was thick, juicy and filled the plate nicely. The crumbing was perhaps a little bit overdone in places, but nothing to whinge about. The topping was nothing short of impressive - salami, bacon, ham, cheese, smokey bbq sauce. It wouldn't win a beauty contest, but thats not part of the rating criteria. The chips were under the parma and as a result got soggy, but they were cooked well. There could have more chips as well. Salad was good and tasty, but it was largely just lettuce leaves. Bonus point for the fact they combined my 2 favouite foods - meat lovers pizza and a parma.
