i was getting my tourist on in sunny Melbourne and on a friends recommedation stopped in for a sneaky lunch parma at Transport. as was promised the size was pretty damn impressive, but the highlight was definitely the quality of the chicken, which was excellent. all in all, it was a pretty sweet parma, $10 for a pint of bulmers was excessive though

Pretty average parma, the presentaion is good but the meal lacked any quality whatsoever. I got a pretty average amount of chips and they were mostly soggy. The Parma was soggy too, and didn't deliver much to the tastebuds. Salad as alright, but I think the rest of meal somehow made it look better than it really was. Bonus point if for (disturbingly) fast food delivery and the pot of Blue tongue beer that went with the meal.

I had the Blue Tongue and Parma for $19.50, regular Parma price is $18. The chips were good (some chicken salt detected) but there wasn't a lot of them, they also hid under the parma which of course made them soggy. Salad was short on dressing but otherwise great. Looking upon the parma you'll see a good size fillet, ham and cheese but the sauce was nearly invisible. The ham was the only part which had flavor, the rest was tasteless. I did, however, give a bonus point for serving it with a small tub of tomato sauce (making up for the lack of it on the parma) and the getting a Blue Tongue for effectively $1.50.
