Not great, but not bad. $17.50 for a parma and Carlton Draught schooner on a Wednesday. I really enjoyed the ham, cheese and sauce, but the chicken was a little dry and I reckon the chips went straight from the freezer to the fryer (the quality would've been "very good" otherwise). Olives in the salad is not my taste, but I didn't leave disappointed. A stock-standard parma really.

This parma was pretty decent! I found that for a lot of the ratings, the score I awarded this parma fell between numbers, for example, 3.5 for the size of the meat, and 3.5 for the topping. I ended up awarding a 3 for the size of meat and 4 for the topping, as well as a tilt of +1. The serving size of the meal wasn't too bad; I had a pretty good feed. The chicken breast was large, and crumbing crunchy. It was seasoned in places, but in other, didn't seem to have much seasoning on it. Same with the thickness, thick in places, a little bit thin in others. The topping was nice and cheesy, and the smoked ham underneath was pretty good too! The nap sauce underneath was a little bit sour, but this is just my personal preference. The chef should consider putting more sauce on, I mainly only tasted the cheese. At any rate, this component was pretty good. The chips were a decent serving too; and the way chips should be served. Adjectives which I'll use to describe it include: piping hot, crunchy, not greasy, well seasoned with salt. Whilst not being fancy, the chips were spectacular because they were well done. The salad was pretty standard fare, with an above-average sized serving. The salad consisted of tomato, cucumber, lettuce, and onion. Overall a pretty good meal. I will definitely consider coming back again if I'm in this part of the city. I am interested to see what the Tuesdays $16.50 parma and Melbourne Bitter longneck special would look like.

$16.50 parma and Melbourne Bitter longneck Monday to thursday night. Very good parma! Was gunna give -1 for pub atmosphere... Was very dark inside, like a nightclub, and very few people... But after 5 mins ppl started walking in the door and the pub filled up a little creating a good atmosphere to enjoy my longneck and parma.

Staff gaves us conflicting stories on specials, prices and what's available in the dining room and the main bar ... took 15 minutes to sort out. And the parma was slightly undercooked.
