A late switcheroo delivered me to the Windsor Castle, a pub that is a fav of mine due to its unique interior and myriad of floors and set ups. Was intrigued by the options in the parmas, with a normal one and a free range one for a choicely $2 premium, thus we arranged to have both. Whilst a bit on the small side, the quality of both parmas was superb,as were the sides, and even though chips were under (my preference to be honest) the quality was not diminished, especially on the crunch!! The difference between the two parma's wsa negligible, although I much preferred the normal parma on my parma, although my hombre accompanying me was the opposite. An interesting option for mine, befitting this unique inner suburban pub!

Was a toughy getting a table, especially on weekends in a venue that is actually a maze. Had the pleasure of getting one right near the work room (kitchen) & it was actually a joke how many parmas they were pumping out. Thoroughly enjoyed this bird & would def recommend going there if you like chicken with benefits!

A yummy parma! Chicken and crumbing was very tasty and crispy. Nice cheese and napolitana topping, not too greasy, but missing ham?! (hence the -1). Chips were really good, crispy crinkle cut and lightly salted. They also do tasty gravy you can dip your chips into. Om nom nom!

Tried this one out last night. Was a great piece of chicken. Big, juicy and piping hot. Crumbing was perfect. Crinkle cut chips were crisp and fresh. Salad was as good as salad can get. I also like the dim lighting as is hides my horrible acne-scarred face. Great Parma!

Really good parma you can rely on time and time again. Big fan of the crinkle cut chip(where else "doz em") and bonus point for a pub with top shelf homemade aioli. Nothing better than a garlic mayo to smother your chip or a naughty dip with your parma. You wont be disappointed!!

This is a backdated review from a few weeks ago now. Another awesome parma. Always nice and thick. Topping was great. Chips were amazing! -1 point for the fact that it's next to impossible to get a damn table and the fact it's impossible to move in the place when it's busy. Otherwise - Excellent work.

Excellent parma! Great taste, great size, great chips! what more can you want. Parma was served on top of the chips unfortunately. Nice little venue - if you can find the place! Would definately return.

Maybe it was cos it was a Monday - Love my salt but the chips arrived absolutely coated in salt which made them unpalatable. Parma itself really disappointing, pretty much a food court parma, something you would get at Fountain Gate. 2 out of three staff encountered were awful, barman came over to collect plates and sneezed on everyone, not even an "excuse me" was uttered. One of my worst all round eating/drinking experiences of the last few years.

Second time at this venue and the parma was excellent. Good quality meat and a nice topping. Would still like to see some cherry tomatoes or something in the salad.

No ham, no Parma...Size was also found wanting, one of the smallest Parma's going around. Despite all of this the quality of the meat was top shelf and the crinkle cut chips an excellent addition. As mentioned below the salad was missing something. All in all a serviceable Parma that didn't meet my expectations given some of the glowing reviews.

Salad lacked substance, required at least some tomato, etc. Meat quality was good, no ham but sauce was good and cheese excellent. Good ambiance gives a bonus point. Great chips and nicely salted. Overrated by some previous reviews.

For mine; the size and the lack of ham were two glaring omissions to a quality parma. Despite these early setbacks, the quality of the meat and chips almost made up for it. The salad was fairly standard and would benefit from a 3rd ingredient (lettuce + onion) however it also was well made and was not overpowering. Bonus Point: Cascade Pale Ale on tap, one of the best going around.
