As I scraped out my chips from underneath found bottom of parma burnt black, not a good start. Chips were great, crunchy and well seasoned. Chicken tasted ok but very thin, Good amount of cheese and nice color.Napoli sauce pretty plain. Poor salad, mostly lettuce with one piece of tomato and a bit of onion.

The chicken parma looks good and presents well. But it puzzled me that the parmas at this place vary in price depending on where you order them from. If you order from the "bistro" it's $19.00 and if you order from the "bar" it's only $13.00. However whether you save $6 is besides the fact that the Parma was not good, the quality of the chicken was poor and it was cooked unevenly. Parts of the crumb weren't brown and other parts burnt. The flavour of the Parma was overpowered by a real salty cheese and what seemed like packet Napoli sauce. The salad was overdressed with balsamic and did not compliment the dish. Will I go back. Probably not although they had a Parma night advertised on Wednesdays that promises a variety of 6 toppings. If anyone is down main street Bacchus marsh on a Wednesday give it a go and let me know it's any good. PS - the minus 1 point is for committing the number 1 crime against chips "Thou shalt not let thy chip become soaked in salad dressing" a good portion of the chips were dark with balsamic vinegar
